Contest rules:

The contest is open to everyone globally who is at least 18 years old, except employees, contractors and current or former talk show hosts of Global Talk Radio (GTR) and their immediate families. Not all applications will be approved. Contestants will be required to host an approximately 10-minute live talk show segment and can have guests or co-hosts. Listener calls will not be accepted. Successful contestants will advance to additional rounds of competition until one winner is determined, which will be at the sole discretion of GTR. There is no cost for participating, except for possible long-distance phone charges for dialing into the studio or conference center. The winner will receive a check for $100 plus a 3-month "Silver" hosting contract with Global Talk Radio. (There is no compensation for hosting the show.) Said contract can be cancelled at any time if GTR determines that the show is drawing insufficient listener interest or is inappropriate for GTR's audience. By entering the contest, you agree that GTR may use your name, picture and other related information in marketing "Who Wants to be a RADIO STAR?" and the Global Talk Radio network without compensation. You may not use copyrighted, libelous or slanderous material in your program. All material submitted to us, or produced in conjunction with the contest, is owned by Global Talk Radio. You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless GTR, its employees and contractors, and its affiliates against any claims, demands, costs and damages, including attorney's fees, from appearing on (or applying to appear on) this program, regardless of the outcome. GTR reserves the right to cancel the contest, change prizes or modify the rules at any time without notice.
